Who Are We?

Loco (Longboard Colombia) is a boutique, Colombian longboard factory founded and run by Mauricio Rodriguez, Colombian National Longboarding Champion.

In 2010 Mauricio's sister, Marcela, moved to Australia to open Loco Australia, bringing these beautiful handcrafted boards to our Australian shores.

Each one of our boards is handmade and engineered to meet downhill racing standards and finished with spectacular artwork from local artists.

When you order your board from us, you will be given access to a unique NFT which accompanies every board as it's made - providing a certificate of authenticity, unique content, and tracking it's progress from factory to your door.

Made from Local, Sustainable Materials

Our boards are all handcrafted from locally sourced Colombian Bamboo (Guadua).

With maple trees rapidly heading for extinction, Guadua provides the perfect sustainable replacement as it's strong, fast growing, and helps rapidly absorb CO2 from the atmosphere - and is native to Colombia.
